E.H Education – Terms and Conditions

Section 1 – Allocation and Payment

  • 1.1 Children aged 4–18 can sign up and will be accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
  • 1.2 Sessions are booked and paid for in advance for each half term.
  • 1.3 The price of one session will be taken as a deposit to secure your place.
  • 1.4 Payment must be made in advance to sessions starting – ELEANOR HARDISTY Account: 39338799 Sort code: 60-83-71.
  • 1.5 Alternate provision, home education and Saturday bookings are paid for in blocks of 5.

Section 2 – How Children Are Taught

  • 2.1 Children will be taught 1:1 or in small groups not exceeding four children depending on the session purchased.
  • 2.2 Sessions last 45, 50 or 60 minutes depending on the session purchased.
  • 2.3 All tutors are fully qualified and hold a teaching certificate and/or qualified teacher status.
  • 2.4 All staff will have a current DBS disclosure allowing them to work with children.
  • 2.5 E.H Education reserves the right to cancel any session giving at least 6 hours’ notice.
  • 2.6 If E.H Education cancels a session, sessions will be rearranged, credited for the next block/half term or refunded.

Section 3 – Child Absence

  • 3.1 You must inform E.H Education as soon as possible if you need to cancel a session for any reason. Refunds are not provided for cancelled sessions.

Section 4 – Terminating Sessions

  • 4.1 If you do not wish to book a further block of sessions, notice must be given prior to, or on the day of, the final session.
  • 4.2 If you are not satisfied with any service provided and wish to cancel further sessions, an early cancellation fee (the price of one session) applies. A full refund will be given for the remaining sessions.
  • 4.3 Remaining sessions cannot be transferred to another child.

Section 5 – Health and Safety / Safeguarding

  • 5.1 Children under 16 must be picked up and dropped off by someone known to E.H Education unless agreed otherwise by a parent or guardian.
  • 5.2 Names of known collectors must be stated on the registration form. In emergencies, details of a new collector must be given to Ellie Hardisty in advance and the person must state the password on arrival.
  • 5.3 Any change of contact details must be given to E.H Education immediately.
  • 5.4 E.H Education reserves the right to terminate a child’s sessions due to poor behaviour or actions causing harm or distress. A refund will be given for remaining sessions.
  • 5.6 E.H Education must be made aware of any special educational needs before sessions begin.
  • 5.7 If a child holds an Educational Health Care Plan this must be shared before sessions begin.
  • 5.8 Any allergies must be disclosed to Ellie Hardisty on the registration form.
  • 5.9 We are a nut-free zone. Please do not provide snacks containing nuts.

Data Protection Act 1998

By signing acceptance of the Terms & Conditions you give consent to E.H Education to retain and process information provided by the parent/guardian, which directly relates to the child, solely for childcare and welfare purposes.

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between the parent/guardian (including other carers) and E.H Education. Any other agreements, warranties, conditions, terms or representations, whether verbal or written, expressed or implied, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. E.H Education reserves the right to update/amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with notice of changes provided.
