Help with Tuition Costs
Help with Tuition Costs
As an Ofsted‑registered tuition provider, EH Education is recognised by the UK government. This means parents and carers may be able to access financial support with tuition fees through Tax‑Free Childcare and Universal Credit.
1) Tax‑Free Childcare
What you get
- Up to £500 every 3 months (£2,000 per year) per child.
- Up to £1,000 every 3 months (£4,000 per year) if your child is disabled.
How it works
- Set up an online childcare account.
- For every £8 you pay in, the government adds £2.
- Use these funds to pay an Ofsted‑registered provider (such as EH Education).
Can be combined with
- 15 or 30 hours of free childcare (if eligible).
2) Universal Credit (UC)
What you get
- Claim back up to 85% of eligible childcare costs.
Eligibility (summary)
- Child’s age: Under 17 (or under 16 if you’re on Tax Credits instead of UC).
- Work status: You (or your partner) must be working or have a job offer.
- Savings: You and your partner must have £16,000 or less in savings.
- Necessity: The tuition must be required to allow you to work (or prepare for work).
How it works
- You pay EH Education first.
- You then claim the costs back through your UC account, following GOV.UK guidance.

Why this matters: Only Ofsted‑registered providers can be used with these schemes. Registration gives peace of mind that our provision is safe, professional and accountable.
“Our Ofsted registration not only demonstrates our commitment to quality but also helps families access financial support with tuition costs.”
Initial assessment: £25 for 30 minutes (required before joining group tuition to ensure correct placement).
